Maybe I am missing something here, but I have run into a problem.
I know how to change rates over dates - but I don't see that that includes tax rates. I only see the one area under the "My Property" - Property Setup subtab to change tax rates.
My problem is that they passed a local Splost Tax that goes into effect on January 1 2015. I am already booking 2015 stays, and my taxes are set at 2014 rates. If I change the Rate to the increased 2015 rate, then my bookings for the rest of 2014 will be off.
Am I missing something? I am not sure thi is an easy problm to fix - but it is a problem. It seems the taxes need to be directly associated with the "My Property" - Rates subtab - associated with date ranges.
I also did some manual editing of the tax field in the individual booking, manually calculating hte extra tax, but it refuses to take it exactly - it keeps throwing off the total by a penny or two. Its becoming an annonyance and small book keeping issue - and just want to throw this out there for feedback.
Peace,
- david

Hello?
Still having this problem, getting worse. Bookings for 2015 are beginning to get busy, and I have a 1% Tax increase that goes into efect January 1, 2015. Manual overrides are not working because it is defaulting the totals off by $1. Its actually becoming a rather large accounting issue from a time standpoint.
